Crispulo L. LaRosa

Crispulo L. LaRosa of Springfield, NJ passed away peacefully after a long illness on March 7, 2017, surrounded by his loving family at his home. Crispulo was born in Mindoro, Philippines on April 29, 1942 to the late Crispulo L. LaRosa Sr. and Gregoria Luna. Crispulo graduated from Manila Central University with a BA in Chemistry (1964) and a BS in Medical Technology (1968). He was married to his loving wife Clariza V. LaRosa on January 22, 1967 and recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

He was employed at Overlook Hospital (Summit, NJ) for over 30 years. During his years of retirement, Crispulo resided at The Villages, Florida where he was an active member of the Fil-American Club, Filipino Choir of St. Vincent Paul Church and Southsider Karaoke Group. He enjoyed dancing, singing, and playing golf. One of his enjoyable moments was when he shot a hole in one.

Crispulo is survived by his wife Clariza Villamin LaRosa, his son Crispulo V. LaRosa and his wife Mary, his daughter Clarita Mele  and her husband Mick, his daughter Criselda Santiago, his daughter Cristella LaRosa and her husband Chris O’ Hagen, his sister Corazon Abes and her husband Joven, his brother Emmanuel LaRosa and wife Agnes, his brother Ernesto LaRosa and his wife Olivia, his brother Carlos LaRosa and his sister Aurora LaRosa.

He was also loved by the Villamins and their families.

Crispulo was the loving grandfather to grandchildren; Stephanie, Emily, Philip, Jeremy, Kate, Joey, Jake, William and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

A Mass will be held at St. Rose of Lima, Millburn, NJ on Friday, March 10th at 11:15 a.m.

A committal service will follow the Mass at the Farimount Crematory at 620 Central Ave. in Newark.
