Daniel A. DaSilva, 53 of the Ironbound section of Newark passed away on May 19, 2014.

Funeral Mass is at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Newark on Thursday at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation is at the Galante Funeral Home, 17 Pacific St. Newark on Wednesday May 21 from 7-9 PM.

Born in Muitosa, Portugal, Daniel arrived in Newark in 1983 and has lived here ever since.

Daniel was predeceased by his parents Jose and Joaquina DaSilva, and by his sister Ascensao. He is survived by his brothers Jose, Domingos, Antonio, Silverio and Eduardo; and his sisters Ilda, Celeste and Lucia.
