Daniel J. Evangelista 84, of Forked River passed away on July 2, 2013.

Funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave, Caldwell NJ on Monday at 9:30AM Funeral mass is at St. Aloysius Church in Caldwell at 11 AM Entombment will be at Restland Memorial Park E. Hanover, NJ. Visitation is on Sunday from 2 – 6 PM.

Daniel was the beloved husband of Carolyn (nee Desiderio). Brother of Marie Christiano. Uncle of Angela Christiano. He is a lso survived by his many Neices and Nephews.

Daniel was born in Belleville NJ. He served in the army during the Korean War. He was the owner and operator of Danny's Auto Repair in Belleville for 20 years. He and Carolyn then moved to Pompano, Fla. where he was a maintenance supervisor for the town of Oakland Park, retiring in 1980.
