Daniel Fasano

Daniel J. Fasano, 72 of Union passed away on November 28, 2021.

Funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Thursday December 2 at 8:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Church in Union at 10:15 AM. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation is on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.

Born in Newark, Daniel lived in the Ironbound section before becoming a longtime Union resident. He was a manager for C&K Scrap Metal in Newark, semi-retiring several years ago. Daniel was a connoisseur of fine Italian dining, and enjoyed nights spent dining out with his friends. He had a great sense of humor, and loved to make people laugh. Above all, Daniel treasured time spent with his family, especially with his grandchildren.

Daniel was the beloved husband of JoAnn (nee Iovino) Fasano; loving father of Daniel Fasano, Jr. and his wife Christina, Danielle Martino and her husband Anthony, Tom Fasano and his wife Carolina and Dana Marie Luzzi; and proud grandfather of Denine Fasano, Anthony Martino, Jr., Nicolette Fasano, Angelina Martino and Nicolas Fasano.
