Dante A DeDomenico (94) of Pompano Beach, FL, formerly of South Orange, N.J.,

passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018.

Visitation will be at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Avenue, Union, New Jersey on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 2 to 4 PM and 7-9PM.  Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in South Orange, NJ Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 9AM.  Interment will be Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.

A veteran of World War II serving in the 30th Division in the European Theater and Bronze Star recipient;

He retired from the South Orange Fire Department as Deputy Chief  after 39 years of service.

He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony & Philomena, his wife Eileen (nee Donlon), his daughter Paula, his sisters, Marie, Ann, Josephine (Tina) and brother William (Bill).

He is survived by his children Dennis, Lisa, Mary, Anthony, Mark, Eileen; daughters-in-law Cindi, Kimber, Debby, 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Dante will always be remembered as a

loving, loyal and hard working

son, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that
