David Miller

David S. Miller, age 67, passed away on June 5, 2023 after a short but courageous
battle with pancreatic cancer. David is survived by his beloved daughter,
Mackenzie Miller, his mother, Lois Miller, and his sister, Linda Reimer. He was
predeceased by his father, Robert Miller, and his beloved grandfather, Henry
Jorgensen.
Dave had a long career as a contracts negotiator in the finance industry, most
recently with KPMG. A little known fact, of which he was proud, was having been
a police officer in California for 12 years at the beginning of his career.
Dave enjoyed his retirement years as a swim instructor, following 20 years of
teaching part time. He loved his swim students, his cat, Jessie, and ice dancing.
Dave was Adult Silver Ice Dance National Champion in 2019 and 2021 with his
partner Deana, an accomplishment of which he and his entire family were very
proud. But he was most proud of his daughter, Mackenzie, and supported her
continuously through all of her endeavors and achievements.
Dave will be missed by all who knew him, and remembered for his kind and gentle
nature.

Cremation will be held privately, in the care of the Galante Funeral Home.
