Delfina Rodriguez

Delfina Rodriguez, 93 of Newark passed away on March 11, 2023 at Capitol Health in Trenton.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Delfina at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Thursday March 16 from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Friday at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park.

Born in Spain, Delfina has been a Newark resident since 1972. She loved to travel, but her most treasured time was spent amongst her family, cooking for them and caring for anything that they needed. She will be deeply missed.

Delfina was the beloved wife of the late Juan Jose Rodriguez; loving mother of Angela Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez and his wife Claudia Lopez, Luis Rodriguez and his wife the late Celeste, Ramiro Rodriguez and his wife Eva and the late Felix Rodriguez. She was the proud grandmother of Jose, Jr., Cristina, Jennifer, Jessica, Luis, Amanda, Michael, Alex, Gabriella, and the late Begonia and Cristian Rodriguez; adoring great-grandmother of Sara and Becky Fernandez, Luca and Leo Miranda and Mateo Rodriguez. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Amparo Rivera and Anita Gonzalez.
