Visitation at the Galante Funeral Home, on Friday from 5pm - 9pm. Funeral services at St Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church Union at 9 am. Interment Fairview Cemetery Westfield.

Born in Greece, Demetrios lived in Union before moving to Colonia. Demetrios was a restaurateur.

Husband of Zoe (Nee Mihalos) Father of Antonios and his wife Katerina, Michael and his wife Christina & Chrisoula Lakkas and her husband Spero. Also a Godson Jimmy. Brother of Pavlos and his wife Margarita, Nicholas and his wife Maria, Matina Georgiou and her husband Kostas and the late Theodore and his wife Argeliki. Brother in law of Panagiotis and his wife Irene and Michael and his wife Mary. Grandfather of Stefini, Zoe, Sophia, Andrew, Demetri, James & Niko.
