Denice Rose Tortorello (nee) Palumbo, 61, of Cranford

passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at her home.

The Funeral Service will be in the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue Union, NJ

on Monday August 26, 2019 at 2 PM

Cremation will be held privately

Visitation will be on Monday August 26, 2019 from 12 noon until 2 PM

Born on October 11, 1957 in Newark, NJ to the late Joseph and Doris Palumbo.

She was the 3rd of seven children.

She is survived by her sister Priscilla Palumbo, brother Joseph Palumbo,

and sister Michele Santos.

She was predeceased by her sisters Dolores DiNuzzo and JoEllen Pedone

and brother Frank Palumbo.

She was the loving mother of her 3 beautiful children

Melissa Brophy (George), Salvatore Joseph Tortorello, and Joie Alexis Tortorello

who she loved with all of her heart and soul.

She never failed at making it known how much she loved them.

She has five beautiful grandchildren, Madison, Dylan, George, Sophia, and Daniella

who she loved and adored and was so proud to call them her “grandbabies”.

She was their “Grammy” and their “Ma”.

She also had a special place in her heart for her ex-husband Salvatore.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She loved cooking, making cookies with her grandbabies and loved playing Bingo,

but her greatest love was for her children, grandchildren and her dog Max.

She had a big heart and loved everyone she knew.
