Diane Rose

Diane Ruby Rose, 56 of East Orange, formerly of Pequannock passed away on December 29, 2019.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a memorial visitation celebrating Diane's life at the Galante Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave. Caldwell on Friday January 3 from 5-9 PM.

Born in Paterson, Diane lived in Prospect Park for 14 years before moving to Pequannock in 1997, and finally to East Orange several years ago. She was a teller, and later a clerk at the Meadowlands Racetrack for over 25 years. Diane was a lover and caregiver to all animals, and especially loved her cats.

The daughter of the late Charles and Emma Vaitovas, Diane was the beloved wife of 35 years to Louis Guy Rose; loving mother of Crystal Finnegan and her husband Joey, and Heather Rose and her fiancé Paul Petsu; dear sister of Algae Vaitovas, George Vaitovas, Rosemarie Puzio and Irene Vaitovas. She is also survived by Biagio and Carmine, whom she loved like sons, and by many other cherished nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory will be accepted by the family.
