Dimitrios Moutis

Born in Greece, Dimitrios emigrated to the United States in 1967. He lived in East Orange, Newark and Irvington before residing in Union for the past 33 years. He worked as a painter for over 40 years.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and cousin to his many family members. Dimitrios, better known to his friends and family as “Jimmy”  is remembered by loved ones for his kind and gentlemanly manner, sense of humor and being able to recite stories about his past as if they had happened the day before.

He is survived by his wife Angeliki, sons George and Nickolas, along with his grandchildren Demetri and Ariana. His love of family will sustain his memory in our hearts forever.

There will be a visitation for Dimitrios at St. Demetrios Church in Union Thursday 12/23 at 10:00 AM.
