Dolores Gomez (nee Ledo ) 86 of Newark, NJ passed away on
Monday October 28, 2019.
The family will gather for the Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Church in Westfield, NJ
on Thursday October 31, 2019 at 10 AM.
Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Westfield.
Visitation will be at the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue in Union, NJ
on Wednesday October 30, 2019 from 5 - 8 PM
Born Lugo, Spain she arrived from Cuba in 1959 to settle in the Ironbound Section of Newark.
She met her late husband Remigio Gomez at the New York Worlds Fair in Queens, NY in 1964.
She is the wife of the late Remigio Gomez who passed away in 2013.
She is the mother of Benjamin Gomez and his wife Laura.
