Dolores Guerrero (nee Mera), 87 of Newark passed away on May 30, 2013.

The Funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 17 Pacific St. Newark on Monday at 8:30 AM.  The Funeral Mass is at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Newark at 9:30 AM.  Entombment will take place at Hollywood Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.

Born in Ourense, Spain, Dolores moved to the Ironbound in 1969 and resided there since. She enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of her children and grandchildren.

She was the wife of the late Aurelio Guerrero.  Beloved mother of Aurelia Marzabal and her husband Manuel; and Nancy Estevez and her husband Chicho. Sister of Elvira Martinez and her husband Higinio; sister-in-law of Aurora Guerrero and her late husband Leonardo; and the late Rosa Garcia and her husband Pepe. She is the loving grandmother of Steven, Cristian and Joey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
