Dolores Nahirny

Dolores (Iacobucci) Nahirny, 93 of Springfield passed away peacefully at home on September 30, 2023

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Dolores at St. James Church, 45 S Springfield Ave. Springfield on Thursday October 5 from 10-11 AM. The funeral mass will be held at 11AM. Following the service, there will be a burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Dolores was born in Olean, NY, lived in Newark before moving to Springfield for many years. She proudly worked as a school teacher in Nutley for 40 years. One of her most cherished past times in life was being a member of her Ski club which traveled throughout Europe. She also was a very active parishioner with St. James Church.

Dolores will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph Nahirny. She leaves behind a loving family that includes her nephews Ron and Michael Iacobucci and cherished nieces Donna Iacobucci and Laura Olohan as well as her children Kasey and Jake Olohan.

She will be dearly missed.
