Loving Homemaker to Her Family, 85


Mrs. Dolores (nee Cifelli) Plinio, 85, of Parsippany, formerly of Union, passed away at the home of her daughter on Thursday, May 31, 2012.


The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home of Union, 2800 Morris Avenue on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. There will be a funeral mass celebrated at St. Michael’s Church, Union at 10:15 a.m. The interment will be at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.


Visitation will be on Sunday, June 3, 2012 from 1-5 P.M.


Mrs. Plinio was born in Newark and resided in Union before moving to Parsippany seven years ago. She enjoyed meeting with her lady friends for their monthly Club meeting.


She is survived by her loving children Carole Vroegindewey and her husband Dennis, Anthony Plinio and his wife Sherry, Linda Baratz and her husband Alan, and Ella Rentiers; her dear brother Nick Cifelli and his wife Terry; her cherished grandchildren Tommy, A.J., Kristi, Bill, Jill, Lori, Ashley and Alyssa; her precious great-grandchildren Tommy, Jr., Kailyn, Mason, Tyler and Julia; and her many nieces and nephews.


Mrs. Plinio is predeceased by her husband, Jerry Plinio; her sisters Jeanne Auriemma, Marie Chiaramonte; and her very special nephew, John Cifelli.


In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society, cancer.org, will be appreciated.
