Kenilworth NJ- Domenico Pascarella, 73, died Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Overlook Hospital in Summit NJ surrounded by family after a brief illness.

He leaves his wife of 50 years, Carole Anne (Fresulone) Pascarella; his sons, Louis (Julie), Domenick (Rachel) and Peter (Yolanda) and his daughter Maria Sims (Daniel).

His grandchildren; Emilia, Samuel, Grace, Matthew, Leah, Al, Eva, Nicholas, Zachary and Peter.

His sisters, Concetta DeLucia, Giuseppina Pascarella (Andrea) and Antoinette Magliocchetti (Raffaele) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother-in-law Vincenzo DeLucia.

Born in Cervino Italy, the son of Luigi and Maria Grazia (Telese) Pascarella, he immigrated to the United States at 16 years of age.

First residing in Newark and settling in Kenilworth in 1966.

His love of people and the pleasure he took in the happiness of others translated into his profession, spending many years in the restaurant industry.

He co-owned Tri-Boro Pizza in Maywood with his brother-in-law Vincenzo. He also owned Villa Rosario in Haledon, NJ before retiring in 1989.

Domenico had a passion for his family especially his grandchildren and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his family.

An avid sportsman, he played golf, loved to fish and crab, and was a horseman owning multiple race horses who occasionally ended up in the winner's circle.

Visitation will be at Galante Funeral Home in Union, NJ,

Thursday, May 11th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM

with a funeral mass at St. Theresa's Church in Kenilworth, NJ,

Friday, May 12th at 10:00 AM.

Interment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union immediately following.
