Domenico Pugliese, 75, of Kenilworth, NJ

passed away Peacefully on October 1, 2019 in his home

surrounded by his devoted wife and loving son. Domenico ‘Mico’,

Was born in Spilinga, Calabria, Italy on January 2, 1944.

He is predeceased by his loving daughter Mickey, his parents Pasquale and Michelina,

his brothers, Tomasso and Giuseppe.

He is survived by his ‘lovable’ wife, Angelina, of 49 years,

son Domenico Pugliese Jr., grandchildren Gina, Olivia, Jo-Jo and Lia,

brothers Antonio and Francesco,

sisters-in law, brothers-in-law and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Domenico was a lifelong advocate of Cystinosis

and was an original board member of the Cystinosis Foundation of New Jersey

and a member of the Spilingese Social Club.

He worked as a longshoreman for ILA Local 1235 of Port Newark for 23 years.

He will be remembered as a true family man

who loved to entertain at his Ortley Beach Vacation Home.
