Donald A. Yetter 94, of Kenilworth died on Wednesday January 18, 2012 at Haven Hospice @ JFK Hospital in Edison, NJ
The funeral service is in the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, on Saturday at 10:30 AM. Interment is in Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, Visitation is Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
Born in Newark, he lived in Maplewood before moving to Kenilworth 58 years ago. He was an insurance Agent for Met Life Insurance Co. in Westfield for 30 years until he retired 40 years ago. He was also a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army, and was a member of the Masonic Loyalty Lodge in Union, and the Atlas Pythagoras Lodge in Westfield.
Donald was married to his late wife Mildred R. Yetter (nee Stockinger) for 61 years until she died in 2001. He was the father of Donna Seltzer and her husband Jeff, the grandfather of Jody Seltzer, and Kristin Cabarle, as well as the great grandfather of Avery, Jonathan, and Aaron.
