Wife of the late Hon. Alexander J.

Father of Alexander J. Jr. and his Wife Barbara.

Brother of Arnold, Mary Calabrese, Ann Clavelli, Clara Strong, Loraine Foster and the late Fred Santopadre.

Grandmother of Lauren and Christopher.

Dorothy was born in Chicago Il., lived in Newark, Allenhurst NJ and Boynton Beach, Fl. before moving to West Caldwell 3 years ago.

Dorothy was a former opera singer. While studying in Rome she met Alex who had been appointed by President Dwight D. Eisenhower as the American Representative to the Italian-United States Conciliation Commission, they fell in love and were married in 1956 at St. Peters at the Vatican. After returning to the US Alex was elected a NJ State Senator and for many years was a NJ Superior Court Judge.
