Edith Carreno, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend,
passed away on November 21st, 2023. She will be dearly missed by all those
who were fortunate enough to know her.
Edith was born on April 16 th , 1977, in Newark, NJ. She was a beautiful person
inside and out who lived her life to the fullest with her high- spirited
inspirational personality. She was loved by everyone who knew her and had so
much love and compassion in her heart, for people she cared for and a smile
that could light up a room.
Edy is survived by her loving mother Nieves Carreno, her brothers Alexander
and George Carreno, and niece Ariana Carreno and nephews George, Joseph,
and Lucien Carreno. Each of these individuals held a special place in Edy’s
heart, and the love she shared is everlasting.
As we mourn the loss of Edy, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived.
Her infectious laughter, caring nature, and boundless energy will forever be
remembered. She leaves behind a legacy of love and joy that will continue to
touch the lives of all those who were lucky enough to have known her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Edith at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Friday December 8 from 4-8 PM and on Saturday December 9 from 8:30 - 10 AM. A Graveside Service will be held in Hollywood Memorial Park at 10:30 AM on Saturday.
