Eduardo Pachas 78, of Irvington, died on Wednesday May 11, 2016 at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.

The funeral service will be in the Galante Funeral Home  2800 Morris Avenue, Union, on Tuesday at 11 am.

Interment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9 - 11 AM.

Born in Peru he moved to Irvington 16 years ago.

Eduardo was married to his wife Vilma E. Pachas (nee Cornejo) for 50 years.  He is the father of Elizabeth Hooper, Marco Tavara and his wife Claudia, Julio, Juan and the late Eduardo Pachas. He is the brother of Oswaldo, Bernardino, and Dolores Pachas, as well as the grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
