Edward "Champ" Ore Jr.

Edward "Champ" Ore Jr. 53, Electrician-formerly of Newark & Maplewood, passed away January 19th, 2014 at the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick.

Mr. Ore graduated from Vailsburg HS in Newark in 1979, became a licensed electrician and operated his own business for over twenty years.

Recent years found him in kidney failure due to Polycystic Kidney disease and was currently awaiting a donor transplant.

Father of Michael Vincent Ore, & daughter in law Kimberly of Springfield, Regina Michelle Ore & former spouse Jane Ore, both of Grand Prairie Texas, Son of Edward Ore (deceased) and Mary Ore of Newark. Brother of Yvette Mc Guire, Elaine Ore, Bernard Ore, Sherri Ore (deceased), Wardell Johnson, (deceased), Antonio Lewis, Darnel Ruff, Alice Ruff, Theresa Hill all of Newark. Best Friend, Ernestine Price and numerous family members and friends.

The family invites you to attend his viewing on Sunday from 6-9 pm, at the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue Union, N.J. 07083. The funeral service is on Monday at 10 am at the Funeral Home followed by a funeral procession to Hollywood Memorial Park 1500 Stuyvesant Avenue, in Union.
