Elena P. Almadrigo

Elena P. Almadrigo (nee Paz) 83, of Westfield died on Thursday July 5th, 2012.


The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue, Union, on Wednesday at 8:30 am. The funeral mass is at St. Theresa Church, in Kenilworth at 10 am. Interment will take place in the Philippines. Visitation is Monday and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm.


Born in Manilla, in The Philippines, she lived in Westfield, N.J. for 11 years.


Elena was married to her late husband Cesar M. Almadrigo for 44 years, until he died in 1995. She was the daughter of the late Asuncion (nee Patenia), and Cornelio Paz Sr, the mother of Henry P. and Ferdinand  P. Almadrigo, Susan A. Ortmann, Luz P, and Josie P. Almadrigo, Fe A. Mozo, Annie A. Aguinaldo, Rosemarie P, and Lorna P. Almadrigo, and Millette A. Salazar. She was also the sister of Cornelio Paz Jr, Gloria P. Martin, and Corazon P. Pillas, and is also survived by 10 grandchildren and I great grandchild. She is also survived by her loving nieces,nephews,sons-in-law Jose A. Aguinaldo,and Vincent S. Salazar,and her daughter-in-law Febe D. Almadrigo
