Elsie Marseglia

Elsie Marseglia (nee Tamburri) 85, formerly of Matawan, died on Monday June 11th, 2012.


The funeral is from the Galante Funeral home 2800 Morris Avenue, Union, on Friday at 8 am. Funeral mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Newark (Ironbound) at 9:30 am. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. . Born in Newark she lived in Irvington and Matawan. She was a placement counselor for Task Force Agency in New York City for many years.


Elsie was married to the late Marco Marseglia and was the sister of the late Nicholas Tamburri and his late wife Rae, Teddy Prada and his wife Claire, and Linda Meier and her husband Donald Sr. She was the aunt of Donna, and Nick Tamburri, Donald Meier Jr. and his wife Jenean, Melissa Griffie, and her husband Doug, and Jason Meier. She is also survived by 7 great nephews Jake, Cole, Luke, Hunter, Nicholas, Noah, River and 2 great nieces Alyssa Keri Meier.
