Elvira R. Buban (DeYro)

Elvira R. Buban (DeYro), 59, born in the Philippines, lived in California before finally moving to Springfield, NJ in 2002.

Elvira was an Administrative Assistant with the United Nations in New York City for the past 17 years. She was also a Deaconess and Active member at the Church of Christ in Elizabeth for many years.

She was the beloved wife of the late Edgar DeYro Sr., cherished mother of Edgar Jr. and Evygale.

Beautiful daughter of the late Apolonio and Emiliana Buban. Dear sister of Mary Lou Calalang (nee Buban), Magdalena Rafii-Aval (nee Buban), Lilia Buban, Lillibeth Buban,  Nicanor Buban, and the late Danilo DeLos Reyes.

Loved in-law by her late husband’s family; late Gervacio and Lourdes DeYro, Edna DeYro, Edmund DeYro and family, Elvira Botoshansky (nee DeYro) and husband, late Emmanuel DeYro and family, Elmer DeYro and family, Edward DeYro and family, and Errol DeYro.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Elvira at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Thursday from 2-4 & 8-10PM, and on Friday from 9-10AM. Interment will follow on Friday at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.
