72, of Elizabeth, passed away on Monday July 3, 2017 at home

The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue in Union

on Monday July 10, 2017 at 10:30 am.

Interment will follow in Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.

Visitation will be on Sunday July 9, 2017 from 2-5 pm.

Born in Cuba Elvira lived in Elizabeth at the time of her death.

She was the owner of Salon Elvira in Elizabeth for many years retiring a number of years ago.

Elvira was the mother of the late Raymond Alvarez.

She is also the sister of Andres Cruz, and Martha Rodriguez,

as well as the aunt of Elvira Vairinhas, Andres Cruz Jr.

and Anna Marie Huertas
