Elvira Interdonato (nee Palumbo) 89 of Colonia passed away on Thursday January 12, 2017 at home.

The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue, Union, NJ on Tuesday at 9 am.

The Funeral mass will be in

St. John Vianney Church in Colonia, NJ at 10:45 am.

Interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery also in Colonia. Visitation will be on Monday from 4 - 8 pm.

Born in Newark she lived in Toms River

before moving to Colonia 3 years ago.

Elvira was married to her late husband Angelo Interdonato for 58 years until he passed away in 2005.

She is the mother of Angelina Impellizzeri and her husband Joseph, Louis, and the late Dominick Interdonato.

She is the sister of Lorraine Sallustro,

and the grandmother of Frank Impellizzeri and his wife Kristin, Christina Kriznauski and her husband Mike,

Michael, Madeline, and Katherine Interdonato,

as well as the great grandmother of Gianella, Angelina, and Anthony.
