Emilia Goncalves

Emilia da Conceicao Goncalves was 75 years old when she passed away on January 23, 2022 at Newark Beth Israel Hospital.

Emilia was born in Botelha, Portugal and most recently resided in the Ironbound Section of Newark. She came to the United States in 1989 and was a housewife during most of her life.

She is survived by her sons, Helder, Ernest and Jorge Goncalves Januario. She is also survived by her four grandchildren.

A visitation for Emilia will be held on Wednesday January 26, 2022 from 5-7 PM at Galante Funeral Home located at 2800 Morris Ave., Union NJ 07083.

Family, relatives and friends are asked to meet  at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Newark for a Funeral Mass that  will be celebrated  at 9:45 AM on Thursday January 27. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J.
