Enzo La Vecchia

Enzo La Vecchia, 72 of Hillsborough passed away on June 14, 2016.

Funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Saturday at 8:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church in Short Hills at 10 AM. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater. Visitation is on Friday from 4-8 PM.

Born in San Bartolomeo in Galdo, Italy, Enzo lived in Millburn and North Edison before moving to Hillsborough. He proudly served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a retired accountant, later working for MS Administrators in Cranford as a contract administrator of two national employee benefit plans. Enzo was also a member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Rose of Lima Church.

Enzo was the beloved husband of Frances (nee DeSantis); loving father of Elisa Brunelle, Liana La Vecchia and her partner Kimberlee Willard, ; grandfather of Marc and Julian; and brother of Peter and Joseph La Vecchia and Maria La Vecchia-Garciano.
