Esperanza Perez, (nee Mosquera) 97, Passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side on February 1, 2019.

Wife of the late Elias Perez.

Mother of Sergio Perez and his wife Pilar.

Sister of the late Jose Mosquera, Dolores Castro, and Sergio Mosquera.

Dear Grandmother of Dr. Maria Perez and Alicia Perez.

Great Grandmother of Ines Sofia Martins.

Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Esperanza was born in Orense, Spain. When she arrived in the United States in 1966, she settled in the Ironbound section of Newark.

She was a seamstress with Cooper Sportswear for 20 years before retiring many years ago.
