Esther A. Giordano

Esther A. Giordano  (nee Moscaritola) 94, of Mendham Township passed away on Friday December 26, 2014 at home.

The funeral will be from the Hancliffe Home for Funerals 222 Ridgedale Avenue East Hanover, N.J. on Tuesday at 8:30 am. The funeral mass will be in St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 9:45 am. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visitation Monday 3-7 pm.

Born in Newark she lived in Bloomfield for 30 years, then Cedar Knolls, before moving to Mendham Township 5 years ago. She enjoyed working in her 2 brothers' pastry shops, Moscara's, and Angelo's and later she was a sales associate at Lipton's and Lady Jane's Department stores in Bloomfield for many years.

Esther was married to her beloved late husband Joseph A. Giordano for 58 years until he passed away in 1998. She is the devoted mother of Linda A. Bracuti and her husband Peter. She was the loving daughter of the late Giuseppina (nee Marconi) and Vincenzo Moscaritola. She is also the loving sister of Basil Moscaritola, Grace Martino, the late Theresa Spadone, Raffaela Monterosa, Antoinette D'Adamo, Maria Ruggiero, Angelo, Michael,  and Vincent Moscaritola. She was also the cherished grandmother of Mario and his wife Tama, Peter and his wife Melissa Bracuti as well as the great grandmother of Christopher, Joseph, Anthony, Angelo, Mia, and the step grandson of Brandan.
