Fabio Fernandez

Fabio Fernandez 75, On July 23, 2012 of Newark.


Fabio was born in Carballeda de Avia, Spain and was a resident of the Ironbound section of Newark since arriving here from Spain in 1973.


Before retiring in 2002 he was a Carpenter with Mayflower Contractors in Sparta NJ for 13 years. He was a Member of the NJ Carpenters Union Local 620 in Madison NJ. He was also a meat packer with Best Provisions in Newark for 10 years. He was a member of Centro Orensano for many years.

Father of Santiago and Fabio J. Fernandez.


Brother of Jose and Tilde Fernandez


Grandfather of Sarah and Rebecca.


"Fabio was a good friend to many, always ready to lend a hand or offer advice. His workmanship and craft can be seen in many of the homes of family and friends. His work ethic, strong character and thoughtful tenderness will continue to be examples to guide his sons, grandkids and friends forever.
