Fannie Tonzola

Fannie Tonzola, 93  (Nee Albano) passed away on September 2, 2017 at the Fountain View Care Center, Lakewood.

Funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue Union, on Thursday at 8 am. Funeral Mass is at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church Newark at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation is on Wednesday from 3-7 PM.

Born in Newark, Fannie was a lifelong resident of the Ironbound Section of Newark. Fannie was a Shop Steward and Machine Operator for Chase Chemical Newark for 35 years before retiring.

Wife of the late John Tonzola. Mother of Nicholas Tonzola, Theresa Stiso and the late Kathleen Tonzola. Sister of Jay Davidson, Mary Kachur and the late Frank Albano and Anthony " Bo" Albano. also 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
