It is with the heaviest and saddest of hearts that our family informs  you that Fay Emily Komonieski (nee Roberts) 84, passed away on Thursday August 2, 2018.

Fay was born in Newark N.J. and resided in Hillside, N.J. since 1972.

Fay was the wife of the late Stanley W. Komonieski Sr.

and the loving mother of Christine Marchese, Stanley Jr., Steven and Karen Komonieski.

She is the beloved grandmother of Michael Marchese and his wife Rachel, Thomas, and Krista Schmidt,

and the step grandmother of Victor and James Donovan,

as well as the great grandmother of Luca and Carlo Marchese.

Fay was a loving and caring Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother

who was loved and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

We will never forget her love, support, strength, and Courage throughout her life.

A Memorial Visitation will be on Friday from 6-8 pm at the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue in Union, NJ.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 7:30 PM in the funeral home.

Cremation was held privately.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers that you make memorials to

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, Tennessee 38105 in her memory.
