Fay Piegaro (nee Lacartiglia) 91, of Newark died on June 17, 2014 at Clara Maass Medical Center Belleville.

Funeral from  the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Friday at 8 am. Funeral mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church Newark at  9:30 AM . Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM

Born in Bloomfield she was a lifelong resident of the Ironbound section of Newark.  Fay was a meat wrapper for the Village Supermarkets, Shop Rite for 25 years retired in 1989.

Wife of the late Vito. Mother of Joseph Piegaro and his wife Irene and Anthony Piegaro and his wife Pilar. Sister of Angie Mastarano. Grandmother of Diane, Donna & Anthony Jr.
