Grandfather of Nicholas, Patrick and Alessandra.

Also his special little friend Amandinha who brought a unique joy to his life.

Fernando was born in Angeja, Portugal. He lived in Lyndhurst, Belleville and lived in Union since 1991.

Fernando was a Large Business Technician for Verizon in Westfield for the past 25 years.

He received a recognition award for providing critical communication for President Bush and his White House staff during their visit in Newark on Dec. 1, 2003. He was a webmaster for MAGNY Municipal Analysis Group of NY. He has been claimed to be a master of many talents at work and as well as at home.

Funeral from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave Union on Monday at 8 AM.

Funeral Mass at St. Michaels Church Union at 9:15 AM.

Visitation Sunday from 1 – 5 PM.
