Frances Irene

Frances Romano Irene of Springfield, NJ passed away on June 15th, 2020. She was predeceased by parents, James and Frances Romano, brother Frank Romano, and husband, Michael Irene.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Monday from 4-8 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Church in Union on Tuesday at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park.

Fran is survived by her son Michael Irene, daughter Frances Blank, son-in-law Michael and granddaughter, Franny Blank, sister and brother-in-law Lisa and Joseph Schaad, brother and sister-in-law Anthony and Pattie Romano, sister-in-law Maria Romano, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins, her dog Bella, cat Smokey,  and grand-pets Bandit, & Boomer.
Fran had a generous spirit and welcomed conversation with whomever she came across. Nothing pleased her more to be around her Italian family and reminisce. She was happiest at home having visitors come over, enjoyed cooking and dining out with her children. With a loving heart, she spent her days taking care of her late father and her beloved dog, Bella,

Most of all she adored forging a special bond with her granddaughter who loved their time together very much. She will be forever loved and dearly missed.
