Frances J. Jenkins (nee Cerrato), 77 of Forked River passed away peacefully at home on December 12, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Saturday at 9 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Church in Union at 10:15 AM. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park. Visitation is on Friday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.

Born in Newark to the late Dominic and Mary (nee Accardi) Cerrato, Frances grew up in East Orange. She was a Union resident for 22 years before moving to Forked River in 2001. She worked for GMAC East Hanover in their accounting department, retiring 22 years ago. An avid fan of Elvis Presley, Frances enjoyed shopping and taking trips to Las Vegas, but above all loved her family, and always put them first.

Frances was the beloved wife of Louis Jenkins; loving mother of Louis Jenkins and his wife Tina, and Ken Jenkins and his wife Robin; dear grandmother of Kaitlin Franz and her husband Chris, Candice Schuster and her husband Dan, Kenny Jenkins, Kayla Jenkins, Marisa Jenkins and Emily Jenkins; and great-grandmother of Aurora Jane Schuster. She was predeceased by her brother Samuel Cerrato.
