Frances X. Price

Frances X. Price 92 of Union, NJ passed away on April 6, 2022 after a long illness. She was born in Jersey City, NJ on June 30, 1929 to Catherine and Oliver Fowler. She was pre-deceased by her parents and stepfather, Ferdinand Yeo; her husband, George Price, Sr., her sisters Marie Bird, Veronica (Ronnie) Nagel, Catherine Miller and her brother Vincent Yeo. She is survived by her son, George Price JR. and daughter-in-law Carol Price of Chelmsford, MA: her daughter, Mary Anne P. King of Union, NJ. Grandchildren Christopher, Elizabeth, Brandon and Gregory and great grandchildren Ryan and John. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Frances grew up in Jersey City and Denville, NJ. She lived for many years in Boonton, NJ,. where she raised her children. She worked several years as a waitress then as a clerk at RFL Industries in Boonton Township rising to the role of Office Manager for the sales department. After retirement she moved to Union, NJ to be near her daughter and her family. There she lived at the Putnam house for 15 years where she was very active with the Board of Trustees.

Funeral from the Galante Funeral Home,  2800 Morris Ave. in Union on Wednesday at 9 AM

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Theresa Church in Kenilworth at 10:30AM.

Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.

Visitation on Tuesday from 4 - 8 PM

The family requests that only vaccinated and masked visitors attend the visitation and services.

In lieu of flowers, donations to a veterans organization in her name would be appreciated.
