Francis Pullis

Francis R. Pullis 83, of North Bergen, N.J. died on Sunday December 2nd, 2012 .

The funeral service will be in the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, on Wednesday at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in Cresthaven Cemetery in Clifton, N.J. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.

Born in Cornwall, N.Y. he lived in Jersey City, before moving to North Bergen 50 years ago. He was a draftsman for Westinghouse Corporation in Jersey City for 25 years, and then became a bus driver for the Japanese School in Englewood, N.J. for 10 years, before retiring 3 years ago. He was a member of the Hiram Masonic Lodge # 17 in Jersey City.

Francis was married to his late wife Annabelle Pullis (nee Reyle) for 53 years until she passed away in 2003. He was the father Merris Lunney, Karen Wojcik and her husband Roger, Frances Tierney and her husband Ray,  Christine Sowinski, and the late Glenn B. Pullis. He was also the son of the late Dorothy Pullis, (nee Bennett), and the grandfather of Marc, Scott, Craig, Lauren, Melinda, Ryan, and Garrett, as well as the great grandfather of Justin, and Tyler.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to The Alzheimer’s Association 400 Morris Avenue Suite 251 Denville, N.J. 07834, in his memory.
