Frank E. Cerami

Frank Cerami 100, of Newark passed away peacefully on July 12, 2020 at his home.  Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing at the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, NJ on Wednesday 10:30-12:30.  Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery 340 Ridge Rd. North Arlington, NJ.

Frank was born and raised in the Ironbound section of Newark.  He could always be seen sitting outside his home conversing with anyone passing by.  A proud American, Frank served his country in the army during World War II.  After being discharged he worked for the City of Newark for over 40 years.  He enjoyed listening to his Italian music, especially Connie Francis.  He was a compassionate person who enjoyed helping those in need. Frank will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

Frank was the beloved husband of the late Louise Cerami.  He is the loving  father of Mary Queli and her husband Joseph Queli, Frank Cerami Jr. and the late Francine Cerami, and Michele Beynon and husband David Beynon.

Cherished grandfather of Joesph Queli, Frank Cerami, Tara Tennaro, David and Michael Beynon.  Great grandfather of Jacqueline Queli, Brianna, Hailey, Christopher Tennaro, David and Michael Beynon.
