Frank A. Kiszka, 82 of Winfield Park passed away on August 4, 2018.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Friday at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation is on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
Born in Jersey City, Frank was a longtime resident there before moving to Winfield Park 10 years ago. Frank went to school at Our Lady of Czestochowa in Jersey City in his younger years. After serving in the US Army from 1955-1958 in Company B22-2 as a wheel engineer, he went to work as a longshoreman for Teamsters Local 177 and Local 641 for many years before retiring. He was an avid hunter and fisherman; and enjoyed spending time in Vermont.
Frank was the loving father of Frank Kiszka, Jr. and his wife Ruth, Michael Kiszka and John Kiszka and his wife Lisa; grandfather of Matthew, Kaitlyn, Christopher, Michelangelo, Gabriella, John, Jeffrey, Joseph and Gianna. He was predeceased by his siblings Anthony, Catherine, Martin, Victoria and Anna, and by his daughters-in-law Michelle and Julia.
