Frank M. Leite, 88 of Springfield passed away on on June 13, 2014.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 1 PM at The First Presbyterian Church of Springfield, 210 Morris Ave. Springfield NJ.

Husband of the late Elsie (nee Kubichek).

Father of Douglas Leite.

Brother of Ronald and Sophie Leite.

Frank was born in New Bedford, MA. He lived in Springfield for the past 48 years.

He taught English and the was the Tennis coach at Bloomfield HS for 31 years before his position as a Professor of English at Union County College in Cranford for the past 22 years.

He served in the Navy in the Pacific Theater during WWII and was also a POW.

A long time member of the Springfield American Legion Post #228.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Springfield in his memory.
