Gaetana Martino(nee LiCausi) 94 of Springfield, NJ passed away on December 18, 2019.

The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home  2800 Morris Ave., Union on Saturday   at 8:30 AM . A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James Church in Springfield at 10 AM. entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park Cemetery in Union. Visitation is on Friday from 5 - 9  PM.

Wife of the late Pietro.

Mother of Rosaria Bellafiore, Maria Bianco and her husband Sebastian, Giuseppe and his wife Antonina and Tommaso and his wife Olivia.

Sister of Rosa Lodato

Grandmother of Alessandra, Gabriella, Marisa, Jennifer, Giuseppe, Peter, Marco, Roberto and the late AnnaMaria.

Great Grandmother of Julia, Isabella, Sophia, Matteo, Giuliana and Siena.

Gaetana was born and raised in Santa Ninfa, Sicily.

She arrived in the USA in 1968 and lived in Brooklyn NY before settling in Springfield NJ.

She was a seamstress for many years at BLB Sportsware before retiring.

She continued her needle work through crocheting, and these many items she made, were for her family. She also enjoyed preparing home cooked meals for her family on many occasions.

In lieu of flowers the family  prefers donations to St. Jude Research Hospital.
