Genevieve Martelli

Genevieve Martelli 83, of Union, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 30, 2017.

Genevieve was born and raised in Newark before moving to Irvington and then residing in Union for the last 53 years.

She enjoyed spending her winters in Punta Gorda, Florida and there was nothing she enjoyed more than being a mother and grandmother.

Genevieve is survived by her loving husband Anthony Sr., son Anthony Jr., daughters Alexis Adubato, Valerie Melkowits and husband Joseph and sister Rose Rosania. Also her granchildren Ashley, Joseph Jr., Gina, and Alexander.

She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters Frank, Edward, Peter, Augustine Formato, Angelina DiMaio, Pauline Salvatoriello, Ann Parisi and Lydia Siniscal.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9PM at Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave, Union, NJ.  A Funeral Mass will be offered at 9:15am at St. Michaels Church in Union, NJ.  Entombment will follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
