George Martin, 81of Spotswood died on July 9, 2013 at St. Peters Medical Center New Brunswick.

Funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Friday at 8:30 AM. The Funeral Mass is at St. Joseph Church North Plainfield at 10 AM. Cremation is private. Visitation is on Thursday from 4-8 P.M.

Born in Jersey City he lived in Hillside before moving to Spotswood in 1997.  He was a office clerk for Conrail in North Bergen for 30 years retired 1988.

George was the husband of Carol Murata. Father of Kenneth Martin & Kelly Burkert & the late William Martin. Brother of the late Teresa Coughlin and and half brother of Paulette Eason. Grandfather of Jenny, Brandon, Hunter, Jacob, & Zachary.
