Geraldine Soda

Geraldine Soda, 90 of West Caldwell passed away on April 22, 2021.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend services for Geraldine beginning at 9 AM on Wednesday April 28 at the Galante Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave. Caldwell. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Aloysius Church, 219 Bloomfield Ave. Caldwell at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Born in Italy, Geraldine lived in Newark before moving to West Caldwell in 1985. She enjoyed working as a seamstress for many years until her retirement. An extraordinary cook and baker, Geraldine also treasured time spent outside tending to her garden.

Geraldine was the dear sister of Louis Soda, Al Soda, and the late Adelia and Grace Soda. She is also survived by her cherished niece Lisa Cassidy and her husband Thomas, and by her loving nephews Matthew, Thomas and Aiden.
