Giovanni "John" Graziano

Giovanni "John" Graziano, 86 of Readers, PA passed away on February 21, 2017.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Aloysius Church, 219 Bloomfield Ave. Caldwell on Saturday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation is on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Galante Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave. Caldwell.

Born in Ciminna, Italy, Giovanni moved to Brooklyn, NY in 1963, and finally to Pennsylvania in 2000. Helping build the World Trade Center in the 1970s, he was a construction worker for many years with #1536 Carpenter's Union in New York City, retiring in 1987. John was a member of the St. Vito's Society in Brooklyn, and an active member of Our Lady of Victory Church in Tannersville, PA. A former Boy Scout leader in Brooklyn, he was a longtime fan of the New York Yankees. Mr. Graziano's greatest joy was being a Nonno to his grandchildren.

Giovanni was the beloved husband of Eleonora (nee Angeli); loving father of Salvatore Graziano and his wife Hilary Evans, Ernesto Graziano and his wife Ramona Semilia, Daisy Genovese and her husband Lawrence, Jr., and Lina Sereno and her husband Carmelo; brother of Maria Bonanno, Antonina LaSpisa, Francesca Cataudella, and the late Michaelangelo Graziano and Dorotea Rizzo. He was also the loving Nonno of Lauren, Sara, Luca, Anna, Isabella, Dominick, Salvatore and Giovanni.
