Girolama Bianco

Girolama Bianco (nee Vaccara), 84 of Millburn passed away on March 3, 2015.

Funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morrris Ave. Union on Monday at 8:15 AM. Funeral Mass is at St. Rose of Lima Church in Short Hills at 10 AM. Entombment will follow at The Chapels at Short Hills. Visitation is on Sunday from 2-6 PM.

Born in Italy, Girolama emigrated and settled in Orange, NJ in 1970. She moved with her family to Millburn in 1977 and they have been residents ever since. She loved to cook and always liked to be around company, especially when they visited her home.

Girolama is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years Giuseppe Bianco; her loving children Sebastian Bianco and his wife Maria, Leonardo and his wife Jane, Anthony and his wife Marlo, and Piera Bianco-Laffler and her husband Peter. She is also survived by her grandchildren Giuseppe, Marisa Leokumovich and her husband Pavel, Peter, Valentina, Marcus, Thuany, Tayna, Daniel, Emma, Peter, and Olivia Girolama. She was predeceased by her brothers Filippo, Giuseppe, Giacomo and Tommaso Vaccara, and by her sister Rosa Lombardo.

Mrs. Bianco was a kind and gentle woman who took great pride in caring for her family and attending church. She will be greatly missed by all who know her.
