Giuseppe Valentino 81 of Union died on Monday July 3, 2017 at Overlook Medical Center in Summit surrounded by his family.

The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, N.J.  On Saturday at 8:15 am.

The Funeral mass will be in Holy Spirit Church in Union at 9:30 am.

Entombment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park also in Union.

Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.

Born in Sicily he came to the United States settling in Newark in 1969. He moved to Union 23 years ago.

He worked as plumber for Interbake  Foods in Elizabeth, NJ for many years retiring many years ago.

He was a member of  The Operating Engineers Local # 68

in West Caldwell, NJ.

Giuseppe was married to his wife Giuseppa (nee Rubbio)

and is the father of Josephine Agostinelli and her husband Pasquale,

Cataldo and his wife Christine, and Salvatore and his wife Melanie Valentino.

He is also the grandfather of Gabrielle, Mason, Giovanni, and Valentina.
